Community in Christ is a smaller church located in Arvada, Colorado on West 80th Avenue between Simms and Alkire Streets. Our worship service begins every Sunday at 9:30 AM.

Our congregation is a friendly and warm church where everyone is welcome. We are presently made up of mostly families raising children though there is a strong group of single adults as well as couples with no or grown children.

Community in Christ follows a very informal format for most of its worship and practices. We use praise choruses and hymns to sing to every Sunday morning. We also have a nursery and junior church during the worship service for the children. That helps the children grow in their faith and allows mom and dad to worship the Lord together without too much distraction.

The messages from our pastor are taken from God's word and try to be very relevant to life in this new millennium. Our people are also pretty informal in dress. You will find people in everything from jeans to dresses. We stress not what people wear on the outside, but what they are on the inside.

Our congregation is a part of a family of churches known as the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America. There are 3 other CLBA congregations in the Denver area, one in Fort Collins as well as many others across the nation.
